In the early days of Corona, when the public curfew was imposed in the country, the people had locked themselves in their homes and proved that they were ready to defeat Corona with full vigor to fight. Then there was a lockdown of 11 days, then everyone seemed to worried about how the 11 days would be spend. And today it is going to be 7 months, of course now there is a lot of relaxation in the status of unlock, but there is no difference in the business of small traders, there are many reasons, a large number of people from Mumbai have left for their village and most of them have not returned yet , Because the situation is still not normal, big companies and factories are still closed, so what will people do if they come back. It has a very bad effect on vegetable vendors, fruit vendors, stationery, salons and other similar small traders.

Datta Chavan – The vegetable seller told that before the lockdown his business used to be good and there was no problem, but now these vegetables are getting expensive and cannot be sold as well, because of few customers.

V.N. Patel – the owner of Shiv Shakti Stationery, says that his shop has been here for 30 years and for the first time only 20% of the business is left. School is closed, so what will be sold in this, we keep other things also, so a little business is going on.

Imran Ahmad- runs a saloon named Ustra. The saloon was closed for five months, they have space on rent and now the saloon is open from two months but the customers are coming in very less amount.

Mumtaz Sheikh – Amina Readymade Garment, told that shop is on rent, the rent is 45 thousand rupees, the shop owner did not take the rent for only two months. In such situation, if there is no escape from Corona soon, it will come to an end. Because at this time the business is negligible.

Tushar Tiwari – runs a Patanjali store, he also has a rented place, Tushar said that he has worked hard to reach the position of opening the store and it wasn’t long before Patanjali store started, so there was a lot of trouble due to the beginning of Corona period. Their shop owner did not take the rent for only two months.

Kunal Gupta – runs an eyeglass shop named Netra Jyoti, being unhappy that the shop owner has not left any rent in the last 7 months, and the situation of the business is absolutely zero, facing a lot of trouble, due to no customer at all.

Similarly, the people of “Jai Bhavani Travels” say that since the occupation is already 40% less, it is becoming very difficult to pay the salary of the staff and rent of the place. A grocery store or pan-bidi shop is compelled to face the same situation. 7 out of 10 tea stalls in the region are almost closed and those who are running in any way , they don’t have much customers. Everyone is eagerly waiting for the Corona vaccine so that their employment can also be back on track and everyone in India and abroad will get rid of it.
